Reset & Digest: Breath, Yoga, & Sound is a 90-minute practice designed to support the body’s natural mental and physical digestive processes after the holiday weekend.
We’ll begin with a short introduction and guided pranayama (breathwork) to calm the nervous system, build gentle digestive heat, and create space through the abdomen.
The asana (postures) practice will focus on twists, gentle core activation, and compression-and-release movements that stimulate the digestive organs, with particular attention to the liver.
We’ll close with a long, grounding sound bath using gong, crystal bowls, Tibetan & Nepalese bowls, ocean drum, rainstick, chimes, tingshas, and more, to shift the body into a true rest-and-digest state. The tones and vibrations help activate the vagus nerve, support the parasympathetic nervous system, soften the belly, and encourage full-body integration.
This practice is suitable for all levels and is designed to help you reset, regulate, and return to balance.
